"Demystifying LEED" (640 KB) is an overview of the LEED Green Building Rating System and a discussion of its applicability for campus projects. It describes the benefits and process of working with LEED and includes some campus case studies as illustrations of certain LEED credit points. |

the Case for Green" (1.2 MB) is an introductory presentation. It
sets the environmental context for human action and our buildings, then goes through
basic concepts of sustainable design. This talk is appropriate for a wide range

It covers the problems of conventional development, ecological principles we can use to overcome development problems, a breakdown of some sustainable development strategies, and examples of sustainable development. | Elementary School Sustainable Design Charrette (6.8MB) is an introductory presentation specific to sustainable design in educational facilities. It includes an introduction to sustainable design principles, basic information on the LEED™ rating system, and details on design problems and sustainable solutions specific to educational facilities. |

TerraLogos is an active participant in the Baltimore City Green Building Task Force, on which Kim Schaefer serves as a co-chair as representative of the U.S. Green Building Council. The Task Force has developed a proposal on green legislation to guide green building in Baltimore for the Baltimore City Council, available here (740 KB).
