Our very first step is to talk with you and listen. We need to understand your concerns and your plans for your home so that we can tailor the inspection to your individual needs.

Then our trained energy inspector performs a full visual inspection of your home, top to bottom, inside and out, to gather the data needed for developing energy improvement recommendations. Each inspection takes about 2 hours and includes:

  • Homeowner interview to discuss your concerns and planned projects
  • Building envelope: walls, windows, doors, connections to the attic & basement
  • Mechanical systems: heating, cooling, ventilation, ductwork, water heater
  • Insulation and exposure
  • Health and moisture issues
  • Opportunities for solar and geothermal
