What We Do: Quality Assurance and Sustainable Contractors
Quality Assurance Program
A knowledgeable and interested third party can be very helpful during home improvement projects. Such assistance is available to all our customers free of charge through our TerraLogos Quality Assurance Program, when you select a contractor from our Sustainable Contractors Network.
The Quality Assurance Program is designed to help facilitate the home improvement process and assure that the work is properly performed. Projects such as air sealing, insulation upgrades and HVAC repair or installation are well suited to this arrangement.
The homeowner is always free to choose a contractor outside of our Sustainable Contractors Network or to make the improvements themselves. However, this work would then fall outside of the scope of our Quality Assurance Program. TerraLogos recommends obtaining at least two estimates from qualified contractors for all major projects. The estimates should include recommendations for the appropriate materials and methods for the work, the cost, time schedule and any obstacles or areas of concern.
TerraLogos Sustainable Contractors Network
To take some of the frustration and guesswork out of the home improvement process, TerraLogos has pre-qualified contractors in the appropriate fields who are capable of performing the improvements detailed in a Home Energy Report©. The listings for the Sustainable Contractors Network are included with every Report.
Our sustainable contractors are selected for their quality, reliability and expertise at performing the desired improvements correctly. They understand the concepts behind the recommendations in the Home Energy Report, so that the desired results will be obtained. They can quickly and easily start the process which will lead to an efficient, comfortable and healthy home.
The contractors in our network are all independently licensed and insured with the appropriate authorities. TerraLogos recommends always requesting documentation from any contractor you hire, including a TerraLogos Sustainable Contractor, to establish that the contractor is currently licensed with the appropriate authorities and adequately insured.

NOTE: TerraLogos does not warranty or guarantee any contractor performed services or related installed equipment and materials, including services performed by contractors from the Sustainable Contractors Network.
The services of our recommended contractors are provided strictly and solely as an agreement between the contractor and the homeowner. Services, invoices, payments, and warranties will be executed solely according to the terms and conditions of the agreement established between the contractor and owner.
We maintain a referral relationship with our sustainable contractors. Project coordination, consulting and other services beyond those of the Quality Assurance Program can be provided by our sister company TerraLogos: eco architecture, pc for an additional fee.
